In the early days, Henry learned every aspect of the trucking industry
from the Great Depression through deregulation. Today, Henry’s children
own and operate the family business. They continue to provide quality
services to all customers.
In the past decade, Buanno Transportation has increased its fleet to
over 300 pieces of equipment. Loads are dispatched throughout the New
England and Mid-Atlantic states. Buanno also hauls loads in Quebec and
Ontario, Canada.
Safety is an important concern for Buanno Transportation. The company
holds quarterly safety meeting with all its drivers and mechanics; the
NYS DOT and various transportation consultants have been guest speakers
at Buanno meetings. In 2002, Buanno held its first Safety Awards
Banquet. Drivers were honored for dedicated years of service,
accident-free driving records, and top mileage. The company has
generated a safety screening program for all drivers on a regular basis.
The company has diversified the commodities it hauls. The following
goods are handled by Buanno: silicones, latex paints, oil mats, juices,
baby food, gum, candy, paper, plastics, machinery, leather, gloves,
paint, tanning agents, citrus, beer, boat supplies, farm equipment,
electronics, and agricultural fertilizers.
With the experience and dedication of prompt delivery services, Buanno is confident they can handle all your shipping needs!
